So far, the healing is going well. I was able to take the rest of the week off, and Monday is Labor Day. The soreness still lingers, but not as sharp as it was yesterday or the day before. Today I kept thinking about my financial situation, with spending and hopeful traveling. All of it, and then my phone rang. I didn’t know the number, so I let it go to voicemail. Nowadays you never know who’s calling. I checked my email later, to see one in which the man wrote that he called me to set up for an interview for a job! So I called as soon as I saw it, took out my stent to talk half decently, and so next week I’ll be having my interview. Hoping all goes well, I have a good feeling about it. It’s with my alma mater, at it’s other campus location; the much bigger one. Not only do I have to fix my voicemail, he said he couldn’t do it in the email, but now I’m wondering if other jobs tried calling that I wasn’t able to answer. I’ll be a little upset, but I’m focusing on the present. If I get this job, there’s an opportunity to travel! Most likely within state to do some conferences and recruiting, but hey I can use a little change and spontaneity. Most importantly, I’ll be covered by insurance and making more money to save and use on travel. I’m hopeful to get this chance, and I won’t let it go to waste. . .
